God calls us His chosen people. He proclaimed that we are His royal priests
We are His children and like Jesus, we are His heirs (Romans 8:16-17). Jesus is the High priest and we are called to be royal priests on the earth, proclaiming the greatness of Jesus Christ.
Let our lives be a testament of the greatness of God, and let's show the world who our God is. He is Love (1 John 4:8) and all its attributes (1 Corinthians 13:4-7, Galatians 5:22,23). He is gracious and slow to get angry (Psalms 145:8). He loves justice (Isaiah 61:8). He cares for the hurting and the broken (Psalms 34:18).
"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a [special] people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. [Ex 19:5, 6]" 1 Peter 2:9
