Choked Out Shirt

Jesus told the parable of the Sower to a crowed, recorded in Luke as well as in Matthew and Mark. He described some of the seeds as falling among thorns:

 "Other seed fell among thorns that grew up with it and choked out the tender plants." Luke 8:7

He explained that "[t]he seeds that fell among the thorns represent those who hear the message, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the cares and riches and pleasures of this life. And so they never grow into maturity." Luke 8:14

The creation of the "Choked Out" shirt was meant to remind believers that our eyes need to be kept focused on Jesus and the Kingdom of Heaven (Matt. 6:33). We need to be mindful and watch where our hearts are drawn to (Matt. 6:21).

Don't allow your heart to be drawn away by the things of this world; don't be "Choked Out."
